TQR Plymouth is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer based near Plymouth, seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer ready to take the next step in their career. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support a small shift engineering team (1 2 engineers per shift). Diagnose and repair faults across hydraulic, pneumatic, steam, electrical, and robotic systems. Drive improvements in reliability and maintenance scheduling. Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and support TPM initiatives. Assist with machinery installations, commissioning, and decommissioning. Liaise with external contractors and internal teams to ensure smooth operations. Champion Health & Safety and promote a proactive safety culture. Identify repeat issues and contribute to long-term engineering solutions. Candidate Profile:

NVQ Level 3 or higher in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (HNC/HND desirable). Proven experience in a manufacturing maintenance role - with mechanical bias Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
