Maintenance Engineer - Plymouth

Location: Plymouth, Devon

Company: Fine Tubes

Salary: 44,000 - 49,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for a rewarding role in a world-class manufacturing environment? Our client, based in Plymouth, is seeking a multi-skilled engineer to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our production equipment. What You'll Do

Perform planned preventative maintenance to keep equipment safe and reliable.Diagnose and repair machine breakdowns quickly and effectively.Install and maintain single-phase and three-phase electrical circuits.Support corrective actions and process improvements.Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and cost efficiency.Adhere to all Health & Safety and environmental standards.

What We're Looking For

Relevant engineering qualification or industry-related certification.Time-served Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment (mechanical bias preferred).Basic knowledge of PLC control systems.Ability to work shifts (Annualised Hours pattern), overtime, and call-outs.Understanding of 5S and lean manufacturing principles.Proficient in IT (Microsoft Office).Commitment to safe working practices and ability to pass medical/drug tests.

Desirable Skills

Multi-skilled engineering experience.IEE Regulations qualification (18th edition).

Shift Pattern

Core hours: Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm (37.5 hrs/week).Additional shifts include back shifts, night shifts, and weekends (with time off in lieu).Optional standby with on-call payment.
