Overview
This is a great opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer looking to work a shift based role with a major manufacturing company in the area. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be joining an stable team with low turnover where you will play a key part in company growth. Main priorities for the maintenance engineer will include ensuring the factory is running up to speed and production levels are maintained.
Responsibilities for the Maintenance Engineer
Proactive maintenance and site PMsReactive maintenance and responding to breakdowns quicklyWorking across both electrical and mechanical faults and maintenanceWorking on Engineering projects (e.g. commissioning, installations, relocations)Identifying and implementing improvements covering both processes machine outputAdhering to site Health & safety rules and legislation on site
Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer
Time-served / recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subjectExperience working in a Multi skilled role across mechanical and electrical engineeringAbility to and experience of working to a fast pace, ideally confident in a manufacturing environment.
