This is a fantastic opportunity to join my client, a trusted, eco-conscious Multidisciplinary Consultancy known for lending their expertise to diverse projects across the Engineering and Environmental landscapes. They are actively seeking a driven, experienced Hydraulic Modeller who is willing to take on projects across a variety of sectors, based near the historical, cultural town of Taunton.

Responsibilities for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include:

Delivering a variety of projects at all stages of the design processProducing hydraulic models and surveysUsing a variety of software systems to prepare models, reports, and other technical documentsLiaising with clients and other stakeholders across the public and private sectorsAttending site visits and other meetings as a company representativeAdhering to industry standards, regulations, and the appropriate health and safety requirements at all times

Required skills and experience for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include:

A Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, or a similar, relevant disciplineExperience of working in a design capacity, within a UK consultancy (or Local Authority) settingDemonstrable experience of wastewater modellingProficient in the use of InfoWorks ICM (1D and 2D), and other relevant software packages

Desirable skills and experience for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include:

Hold a full, valid UK driving licenceActively working to attain Chartered StatusGood knowledge of the local area and surrounding regionKnowledge of a range of other software systems used within the flood risk, drainage, and hydrology sectors
