This is a fantastic opportunity to join my client, an innovative, industry-leading Multidisciplinary Consultancy known for lending their expertise to a variety of projects across the Engineering and Environmental landscapes. They are searching for a driven, experienced Hydraulic Modeller who is willing to take on projects across a variety of sectors, based near the thriving, historical port city of Plymouth.

Responsibilities for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include:

Delivering all stages of a variety of projects, in a design capacityProducing hydraulic models and surveysUsing a variety of software systems to prepare models, reports, and other technical documentsLiaising with clients and other stakeholders across the public and private sectorsAttending site visits and other meetings as a representative of the companyAdhering to industry standards, regulations, and the appropriate health and safety measures at all times

Required skills and experience for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include:

A Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Hydrology or Civil Engineering (or a similar, relevant discipline)Experience of working in a design-based role, within a UK consultancy (or Local Authority) settingDemonstrable experience of wastewater modellingProficient in the use of InfoWorks ICM (1D and 2D), and other relevant software packages

Desirable skills and experience for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include:

Hold a full, valid UK driving licenceActively working to attain Chartered StatusGood knowledge of the local area and surrounding regionKnowledge of a range of other software systems used within the flood risk, drainage, and hydrology sectors
