Highway Structures Lead

Salary: Grade 11 £55,940 – £59,715 (Bar at £58,498) per annum pro rata + potential 10% Market Rate Supplement (£65,686)

Working Hours: 35 Hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Location Albert Square, Manchester, M60 – Hybrid working arrangements

This role is subject to:

Two References – Where possible our client requires 3 years' employment history.Qualification – Structural Engineer Qualification and membership of (MICE., MIStructE).Casual Car Documentation – The successful candidate will be a designated Casual Car User which means that car journeys may be necessary on an occasional basis but are not essential to the role. You will receive an allowance per mile of business use.Driving Licence – The successful candidate should hold a full clean driving licence.

About the Candidate:

You’ll have proven experience in structural maintenance, design, and asset inspection within Local Authority, Consultancy, or Private sector.A track record managing annual maintenance programmes across the full construction spectrum.Manage your own workload across small to complex commercial schemes.Experience managing teams and supply chain partners.Ideally a Qualified Structural Engineer, ideally with MICE or MIStructE membership and Chartered Engineer status.Part-qualified candidates with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
