Highways Engineer – West London – 35k – 50k (DOE) + Benefits

An established and rapidly growing civil and environmental engineering consultancy in West London is seeking a Highways Design Engineer to join their forward–thinking team. About the Role

Reporting to the Highways Engineering Team Lead, you'll be involved in the design, review and delivery of medium–to–large infrastructure projects. This role offers a mix of hands–on design work, project and client management, and mentoring opportunities.

You'll contribute to high–quality engineering outputs and help shape spaces that are safer, more sustainable, and built for the future.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver design packages for highways and public realm projectsEnsure compliance with CDM 2015 regulationsSupport project and commercial management processesEngage with clients, local authorities, and other key stakeholdersContribute to the technical leadership of the engineering teamSupport and mentor junior and graduate engineers

What We're Looking For

Minimum 2 years' experience in highways or public realm designStrong proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft OfficeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience working collaboratively within a team and with external stakeholdersTrack record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to a high technical standardPositive attitude, enthusiasm, and a willingness to grow and support others
