Performance Objections

Carry out routine inspections, maintenance, repairs & MOTs on HGV's, Trailers, Pool Cars & Other Plant to VOSA standardDiagnose and rectify all types of mechanical & electrical faults using Texa diagnostic equipmentDismantle, repair/replace faulty components and test the new ones are working safelyLiaise with HGV workshop administrator to order vehicle partsGood communication and maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment Person Specification

4+ Years of HGV/Plant Technician experienceApprentice trained and qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Goods Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalentHolds valid HGV Class 1 (C&E) Licence (Desirable)MOT Preparation Experience - Tractor Units & TrailersPrevious experience working with HGV's and Plant, basic welding skills, hydraulic & auto electrical skillsHardworking and can work well under pressure in a safe and responsible manner IRTEC Accreditation (Desirable)Loler competence - experience in undertaking loler inspections - LEEA Apply
