Description

About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Hardware Assembly Technician to join a growing technology business developing high–precision technology systems used by Formula 1 teams, aerospace organisations and leading research institutes.

This is a hands–on, bench–based role involving the assembly, wiring, PC building, software setup and testing of precision hardware.

The role would suit someone with a practical and technical mindset, whether gained through a BTEC, NVQ, apprenticeship, previous workplace experience or personal projects such as custom PC building, electronics, soldering, 3D printing or mechanical work.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble precision hardware, mechanical enclosures and PC systems. Build and configure PCs, including hardware and software installation. Produce cable harnesses, solder components and route wiring looms. Inspect incoming components and carry out product testing. Prepare components and kits for production and fulfilment. Provide occasional hardware and technical support.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

Has strong practical and hands–on skills. Takes pride in accurate, high–quality work. Has excellent attention to detail and can follow technical instructions and engineering drawings. Is comfortable with PCs, electronics or mechanical assembly. Communicates well and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team. Is keen to learn and develop their technical skills.

This is a fully on–site role on the outskirts of Bristol. Due to the semi–rural location and limited public transport, access to reliable independent transport is essential.

What s on Offer:

On–the–job training and mentorship across company product, mechanics, electronics, PCs and software. Opportunities to develop technical skills and take on greater responsibility. Salary progression as your skills and responsibilities develop. Supportive and collaborative working environment. Generous holiday allowance. The opportunity to work on innovative technology used in Formula 1, aerospace and research.
