Location: Ferndown, Dorset

Salary: GBP18.00 GBP21.00 per hour (DOE)

Hours: Monday to Thursday, Day Shift (39 hours/week) 7am to 5.15pm

Job Type: Permanent

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Grinder to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on role working with high-spec machinery and tight tolerances, ideal for someone who takes pride in precision and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate grinding machines to produce precision components Manual machines such as Jones and Shipman and Myfords, also Studer experience would be advantageous Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet required tolerances Maintain a clean and safe working environment Collaborate with the wider production team to meet deadlines and quality standards Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience in cylindrical grinding within a precision engineering environment Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently How to Apply:
