A leading UK environmental and engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Geotechnical Director to lead and grow its ground engineering offering in the South West.

This is a senior leadership role with real influence, ideal for someone who wants to shape a team, drive strategy, and play a key role in the continued growth of an established, forward–thinking business.

The Role

You'll take ownership of the geotechnical function in the region, overseeing technical delivery while also playing a key role in winning and developing new business.

Lead and develop a growing geotechnical teamOversee delivery of site investigations, foundation design and risk assessmentsProvide technical sign–off and maintain high quality standardsBuild and manage key client relationshipsIdentify and secure new work across infrastructure, residential and commercial sectorsCollaborate with geo–environmental and planning teams on multidisciplinary projectsAbout You

Chartered (or working towards) in Civil Engineering, Geology or a related fieldStrong background in geotechnical design and ground investigationProven experience in a senior or leadership positionCommercially aware, with a track record of winning workConfident managing clients and leading projectsWhy This Role?
