Location: Great Yarmouth

Salary: GBP32,000 - GBP38,000 + Overtime + Van

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Forklift Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance and repairs to long/short term machines and customers owned equipment. Ensuring best practice with quality and professionalism are met at all times and to maintain customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for commissioning, maintenance and servicing of equipment and plant machinery.Repair, maintain, and service forklift trucksRepair or replace faulty partsRequest parts via PDAReport to Service Co-ordinator for scheduled workMaintain and develop relationships with CustomersFollow Service Team procedures.Adhere to site Health & Safety requirements.Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for effective performance of the role and attend training courses as required.Adhere to company Quality and Compliance responsibilities, and policies and procedures.Adhere to Health & Safety responsibilities and proceduresThe above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation. Skills and Qualifications:

NVQ in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)Numeracy skillsKnowledge of Forklift trucksAnalytical with an eye for detailExcellent communications skillsProfessional and strong interpersonal skillsAble to work to tight deadlinesFlexible and willing to contribute by helping othersCourteous, friendly and tactful Location: Great Yarmouth
