Job Title: Fire & Security Engineer

Location: Mobile role covering Birmingham and surrounding areas

Salary: Up to 38,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

A well-established fire and security company is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join their team. This is a mobile position ideal for a skilled engineer confident in servicing work across a variety of systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Service fire alarm, intruder, CCTV, and access control systems

Diagnose and repair faults efficiently and accurately

Work to industry standards and company procedures

Deliver excellent customer service on-site and over the phone

Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used

Essential Requirements:

Proven experience working on fire and/or security systems

Good understanding of installation and commissioning practices

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities

Full UK driving licence

Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Desirable:

Experience with smoke ventilation systems

Familiarity with leading brands such as Texecom, Galaxy, Hikvision, and Paxton

Relevant industry certifications (ECS, FIA, IPAF, or similar)
