Location: London (North, East, South & West Field Based)

Salary: GBP40,000 GBP45,000 basic (DOE)

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Travel Time: Paid after first 30 minutes

A growing specialist within the passive fire protection sector is seeking an experienced FRA Carpenter / Fire Door Carpenter to support a range of fire safety projects across London.

This role will involve the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire doors, ensuring all works are completed in line with British Standards, FRA requirements, and fire safety compliance regulations.

As an FRA Carpenter, you will play a key role in delivering passive fire protection works across commercial and residential sites throughout London.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair fire doors and associated componentsCarry out works in line with British Standards and FRA requirementsEnsure fire doors meet required safety, quality, and compliance standardsComplete maintenance and remedial works where requiredMaintain accurate job documentation and recordsWork safely and professionally on occupied and live sitesDeliver a high standard of workmanship and customer service at all times Requirements - FRA Carpenter

NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry (or equivalent qualification)Proven experience in fire door installation, maintenance, and remedial worksValid CSCS or ECS CardAsbestos Awareness certificationFull UK Driving LicenceStrong attention to detail and commitment to complianceSafety-conscious with pride in delivering quality workmanship Desirable
