Location: Tonbridge, Kent

Salary: GBP41,(Apply online only) GBP42,(Apply online only) base salary + London Weighting (GBP3,(Apply online only) GBP4,(Apply online only) per annum)

OTE: GBP50,(Apply online only) GBP55,(Apply online only)+

Hours: Monday Friday, 40 hours per week

Additional Pay: Door-to-door travel time paid + overtime at 1.5x

Due to ongoing expansion, they are looking for a skilled Electromechanical Engineer who is interested in learning, developing and progressing within the industrial cleaning machinery sector.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Attending breakdowns, servicing and installations across a range of industrial cleaning equipment, typically operating within a 1-hour radius of your areaUsing a range of manual and powered tools, including spanners, screwdrivers, drills and grindersUsing lifting equipment such as lifting slings and hoistsUsing hot-working equipment including blowtorches and heat gunsCarrying out electrical, electronic and mechanical fault finding and repairsWorking on industrial cleaning equipment and internal combustion engines, including petrol, diesel and LPG enginesManaging your time effectively to ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within appropriate timescalesCompleting job reports and ordering replacement parts where necessaryEnsuring all Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times The Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in electrical and/or mechanical fault finding, repair and servicingA good level of electrical or mechanical knowledgeExperience in a similar engineering role, such as:Plant EngineerMaintenance EngineerHydraulic EngineerPneumatic EngineerMechanical FitterRelevant qualifications such as NVQ or City & Guilds in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering would be advantageous but are not essentialExperience using electrical and mechanical toolsPrevious experience as a mechanical, electrical or field-based engineerExperience working with diesel engines and electrical diagnostic equipmentA full UK driving licence Apply Today
