Are you an experienced Service Engineer with a strong background in electrical control systems? We're looking for a dedicated professional to join a leading global supplier of advanced lubrication and coating equipment for the glass container industry.
Location: Based at our UK office in Chesterfield, with regular UK and international travel.
What You'll Do
Install, commission, troubleshoot, repair, test, and maintain precision lubrication and coating systems at customer sites worldwide.Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.Produce detailed engineering service reports to support quality standards and continuous improvement.Apply your knowledge of PLC control systems (Siemens & Schneider preferred) to diagnose and resolve technical issues.Participate in call-out cover alongside the engineering team.What We're Looking For
Minimum ONC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (HNC preferred), plus strong mechanical aptitude.Hands-on experience with the ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Willingness to travel extensively in the UK and overseas, often outside standard office hours.Proficiency in personal computing and ideally some PLC experience.Full UK driving licence.Excellent communication skills; foreign language ability is a bonus but not essential.What We Offer
