Field Service Engineer – Pumps (Mechanical / Electrical)

Regional Travel (Southwest)

40,000– 43,000 + Overtime + Van + Benefits

We're working with a well–established engineering business that specialises in the service, repair, and installation of industrial pump systems across a wide range of sectors including water treatment, manufacturing, and utilities. They are now looking to add an experienced Field Service Engineer (Pumps) to their growing team.

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of various pump systems on customer sites. You'll work both independently and as part of a wider engineering support team, ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum and equipment is running efficiently.

Typical duties include:

Servicing and repairing centrifugal, submersible, and positive displacement pumpsDiagnosing mechanical and electrical faults on–siteCarrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)Installing and commissioning new pump systemsProviding technical support and advice to customersCompleting accurate service reports and documentation

About You

We're looking for someone with a strong engineering background and proven experience in field–based work. Ideally you will have:

Experience working with industrial or commercial pump systemsStrong mechanical and/or electrical fault–finding skillsA background in field service, maintenance, or installation engineeringGood understanding of hydraulics and rotating equipmentFull UK driving licenceA self–motivated approach and strong customer–facing skills–IPAF CertificationConfined Space Training18th edition Electrical Competency
