Field Service Engineer (Garage Equipment)

East or West Midlands – Field Based

34,000 – 40,000 DOE + Company Vehicle + Benefits

This position is aimed at engineers who already have relevant garage equipment experience, ideally working directly with mobile column lifts. You will have a high level of autonomy, managing your own diary and workload while providing technical support to customers nationwide.

The Role

Service, maintain and repair mobile column lifts and associated garage equipmentCarry out installation and commissioning of lifting equipment at customer sitesDiagnose mechanical and electrical faults and complete necessary repairsComplete detailed reports and accurately document all work carried outEnsure equipment and work complies with LOLER, PUWER and relevant health and safety requirementsCover customers nationally, with occasional overnight stays and overseas travel when required

The Candidate

Previous experience working on mobile column lifts is highly desirableExperienced Garage Equipment Engineers with relevant lifting equipment knowledge will also be consideredStrong mechanical and electrical fault–finding capabilitiesConfident completing service reports and documenting work accuratelyAble to work independently and manage your own diary effectivelyBased in the East or West Midlands with a full UK driving licence
