Description

We're working with a well-established specialist contractor operating across civil engineering and ground engineering, delivering technically complex infrastructure schemes nationwide. With a strong forward order book and continued growth, they're looking to bring an experienced Estimator into their pre-construction team.

This is a great opportunity to join a business known for its technical capability and involvement in high-profile projects across sectors such as infrastructure, energy, and major civils.

The Role

You'll play a key role in the successful delivery of tenders, working closely with commercial and operational teams to produce accurate, competitive estimates.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing detailed cost estimates for civil and ground engineering projectsReviewing tender documentation to identify risks, opportunities, and key driversEngaging with supply chain and internal stakeholders to build robust pricing submissionsSupporting the wider bid team through the full tender lifecycleAbout You

Proven experience in estimating within civil engineering, groundworks, or infrastructureStrong commercial awareness and attention to detailAbility to interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documentsExperience with estimating software such as Causeway, Candy, or similarRelevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in Civil Engineering or Construction (preferred)Experience in piling, foundations, or geotechnical works would be advantageousIf this sounds of interest, apply now or get in touch with Harry Buckland at Aldwych Consulting for a confidential discussion.
