I'm recruiting for an experienced Engineering Supervisor to join a high-volume manufacturing site in Spalding. You'd be looking after Team Leaders and be a pivotal member between the team and Manager.

This is a 90% management / 10% hands-on position, focused on improving maintenance planning, team performance and engineering standards.

Lead and develop the engineering teamDrive effective use of the CMMS for PPM, work orders and parts controlImprove maintenance planning and shift handoversManage 1-to-1s, performance and team developmentMentor apprentices and support Team LeadersOversee Risk Assessments, Method Statements and SOPsDrive accountability, compliance and engineering standardsWork closely with Production to improve reliability and reduce downtime What We're Looking For

3+ years' supervisory / management experienceMechanical or Electrical engineering qualificationManufacturing experience essentialFood/FMCG experience preferred, not essentialExperience managing and developing engineering teamsConfident with CMMS, maintenance planning and complianceStrong communicator with a structured, proactive approach This is an opportunity for an experienced Engineering Supervisor, Senior Team Leader or Engineering Manager looking for their next step and the chance to genuinely influence how an engineering department operates.
