What you will be doing

To act as a prime Engineering and Programme interface on behalf of the overall Project for any relevant packages of workTo manage the safety aspects of any deliverables and solutionsTo be the prime technical interface for the UK&I Mature Engines Combustion, Turbines & Exhaust (CT&E) teamTo manage and deliver the project technical solution, defined in the statement of work in accordance with Project policyTo provide programme, technical and people leadership to the CT&E teamTo support to the project team and comply with the Engineers Function's policies throughout the life cycle of the projectTo develop and communicate the plan and budget for delivering any work packages on time, and to manage all costs and resources to ensure delivery of the planTo implement effective technical risk management and to ensure appropriate gated reviews are undertaken, where applicableTo work with ET&S to manage budgets and secure appropriate resources, and to ensure that all resources are deployed, directed and co–ordinatedTo work with ET&S to ensure a minimum level of capability within the team, and to identify resource and skills gaps and address these in a timely manner

Qualified to at least degree levelCombustion, Turbines and Exhaust knowledge desirableUnderstanding of Product Change control including PCB (Product Change Board) and DDRAM (Design Definition Review and Audit Meeting) and Product Introduction Lifecycle Management experienceProject Management experience in planning, controlling budgets and driving to schedulesExperience in leading Engineering teams
