Engineering Geologist - Inverness
35,000 - 40,000
We're looking for an Engineering Geologist to join a growing ground engineering team in Inverness, supporting projects across infrastructure, renewables and general development throughout the Highlands.
This role is a great opportunity for someone who wants a mix of site and office work, with exposure to large-scale renewable schemes.
What you'll be doing:
Supporting and carrying out ground investigationsLogging soil and rock to a good standardSupervising site works and contractorsCollecting and managing ground dataAssisting with factual and interpretive reportsSupporting geotechnical input on renewable energy projects (e.g. wind farm bases, access tracks, cable routes)What we're looking for:
Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology or similarSome experience in ground investigation or site workGood understanding of logging and site proceduresWillingness to travel across the Highlands for site workFull UK driving licenceWhat's on offer:
