Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Devon (Manufacturing Site)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a growing manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-structured engineering team with clear progression opportunities into supervisory roles.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to electrical breakdowns and carry out effective fault findingPerform planned preventative maintenance in line with schedulesSupport continuous improvement and production efficiency initiativesCarry out general site maintenance activitiesWork across both Electrical and Instrumentation disciplinesMaintain and troubleshoot: Three-phase electrical systemsAnalogue current loopsHydraulic and pneumatic systemsConverting machinery (cutting/sheeting)Packaging equipment (wrappers)Conveyor systems and processing lines

Experience & Qualifications

Strong background in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environmentNVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in EngineeringMechanical maintenance experience is beneficialKnowledge of PLC and/or DCS systems is advantageous but not essential

The Role

Monday to Friday, days-based role (08:00 - 16:30)Call-out rota: 1 in 4 weekendsReporting into the Electrical Lead within a structured engineering team (Electrical & Mechanical Engineers)

Training & Development

On-site training provided on machinery and systemsClear and fast-track progression opportunities into senior, supervisory, and management roles

Overtime paid at 1.5xPension scheme20 days holiday + statutory daysAdditional holiday entitlement with service (up to 25 days)
