An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Supervisor to join a leading bulk terminal operation based in Barton upon Humber.

The Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of large-scale plant machinery and ship loading equipment within a busy port environment. This role involves supporting the upkeep of critical infrastructure used in the handling of bulk materials, while also leading and supervising a team of technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Supervisor

Supervising a team of techniciansCarrying out electrical maintenance on heavy industrial plant and machineryFault finding and repair on industrial electrical systemsCompleting planned preventative maintenance and responding to reactive breakdownsWorking on ship loading equipment and bulk handling systemsEnsuring all equipment is safely isolated prior to maintenance workCompleting maintenance reports and job records accuratelyWorking within permit to work systems and adhering to health and safety procedures

Requirements of the Electrical Supervisor

Apprentice Trained Electrician18th Edition Wiring RegulationsStrong electrical fault-finding experienceExperience maintaining plant machinery or ship equipmentSupervisory experienceExperience working in heavy industrial environmentBulk handling or terminal experience (desired)Understanding of permit to work and health and safety proceduresFull UK driving licence
