Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Description

We are currently seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a leading manufacturing company based in Ayrshire. This role involves performing both planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment to minimise downtime and ensure smooth plant operations. You will work as part of a small, multi–skilled team reporting to the General Manager, managing equipment installations, fault finding, and troubleshooting. The position also offers opportunities to participate in overhauls and continuous improvement activities, with an emphasis on safety and quality standards. Requirements: Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment Time–served with a good understanding of electrical systems 18th Edition wiring regulations qualification Knowledge of PLCs and automation is desirable Ability to interpret fault diagnostics and perform repairs Willingness to work rotating shifts (day shift and back shift) Salary starting from GBP38,000 per annum depending on experience Join a company committed to safety and continuous improvement, with shift flexibility to suit your lifestyle.
