Coordinate emergency, health and safety and environmental drills, ensuring all relevant records are maintained.

Promote continuous improvement and contribute to the achievement of operational, safety and environmental objectives.

Ensure operational documentation, training records and safety procedures are completed accurately and on time.

Experience in power generation, utilities, process manufacturing or another heavy industrial environment.

Strong knowledge of safe systems of work, permit-to-work procedures and safety management processes.

Experience supervising teams and contractors in safety-critical environments.

Knowledge of industrial plant systems, such as boilers, high-pressure steam, electrical generation or emissions control.

Strong communication skills, with the confidence to deliver team briefings and toolbox talks.

An engineering qualification, ideally ONC, HNC or equivalent.

A leadership or management qualification would be advantageous.

Experience working within a DCS-controlled process environment would be beneficial.

The ability to develop high-performing teams and maintain a strong safety culture.
