Construction Engineer - Major Projects & Capital Delivery - Infrastructure

We are seeking a Construction Engineer to join one of the largest infrastructure & civil-engineering companies in the UK.

Our client has a portfolio of major projects valued at in excess of GBP75m and you would be joining a highly experienced team. The role would involve a mixture of Civil, Utility & M&E works and the successful engineer would be managing some of the largest tier-1 contractors in the UK.

Key priorities of the role would include:

Managing Health & Safety performance Overseeing all construction activities on your projects from conception to completion, whilst monitoring compliance with our asset standards, safety, environmental and quality standards and with wider regulations Managing work permits Regular site inspections - design and delivery review support, risk and issue identification, and collaborative problem-solving with stakeholders. Competitive salary on offer 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the length of service. (Plus bank holidays). You would be contracted to 36 hours a week (Monday-Friday) Many of the engineers typically work between 7:30am-3:30pm This is a fantastic opportunity to progress into a Project Manager and the company will provide all the support, training and accreditations needed Contributory pension Defined Contribution - Maximum of 12% -2x employee contribution.
