Commissioning Engineer

GBP50,000 - GBP60,000

The Role:

Hands-on testing and commissioning of LV switchgear, cabling, and systems up to 1000V

Interpret technical drawings and configure protection devices for smooth system integration

Issue safety documents (training provided), write progress reports, and troubleshoot on-site

Ensure installations meet specs and safety standards through inspections and equipment training

Collaborate with other trades for efficient commissioning and deliver FAT & SAT

The Person:

Solid E&I commissioning experience

Background in Power, Energy, and Gas Transmission

Hands-on with LV Switchgear and MCCs

Engineering apprenticeship or technical training

HNC/HND or degree in Electrical Engineering

Qualified in Inspection & Testing (2391-52)

Up to date with 18th Edition (2382-22)

Holds CSCS/ECS card

LV authorised and experienced
