Due to contract awards and expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team to cover a portfolio of long term commercial contracts within the M25 in Central and North London
Job Purpose:
As the Commercial Gas Engineer you will be required to maintain services by delivering planned and reactive maintenance to an agreed programme, budget and quality within the company's operational targets.
To carry out inspections, diagnose faults, fit parts and carry out repairs.
To undertake gas servicing, repairs and maintenance.
To carry out other maintenance, repairs and remedial works as directed.
Call out duties via rota 1 in every 5 weeks (paid door to door)
To comply with safe working practices ensuring the safety of the workforce and public is maintained at all times.
To comply with the company's Health & Safety policy at all times and follow all related safe systems of work. Attend safety meetings, training and briefings as may be required.
Experience required:
Minimum 5 years relevant experience of working in the commercial gas industryKnowledge of Plumbing & Commercial Gas EngineeringRepairs / Servicing / Maintenance and InstallationExperience as a suitably qualified heating/gas service engineer working in commercial and/or domestic premisesA working knowledge of heating distribution and ventilation system is essential, as the majority of works will be within plant rooms with all associated equipmentExperience with routine maintenance of associated plant items such as pumps, heat exchangers, pressure vessels and valvesAbility to use a PDA deviceQualifications required:
CODNCO1 / COCN1 Core Commercial Gas Safety ESSENTIALCORT1, CIGA1, ICPN1, CDGA1, TPCP1ACCN1, CENWAT, CEN1, HTR1, CPA1, CKR1WAT1 Water HeatersUDHW Unvented Domestic Hot WaterLPG qualified Desirable not essentialTPCP1 Testing & Purging Desirable not essentialValid full clean driving licence is maintainedDBS Check requiredThis is a great opportunity for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a long established company that offers great benefits and ongoing career development.
