Job Details:
Pay: Up to GBP19.00 per hour Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per weekMonday to Friday, 8am till 4:30pm, 2:30pm finish on FridayDuration: PermanentBenefits: Overtime availableTraining and development opportunities providedOn-site showers & canteen23 days holiday plus Bank HolidaysFuel allowance for candidates over 20 miles from workshopBridge/Tunnel toll costs covered by our client Job Role: The CNC Turner will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC turning centres, including XYZ and Hurco lathes. The role includes reading and interpreting engineering drawings to manufacture bespoke components and small batch orders, changing tools as required, and ensuring all work meets tight tolerances.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Programming & setting of CNC Turning centresWorking to tight tolerancesWorking from engineering drawingsExperience working in a contract machining environment on bespoke, one-off jobs and small batch orders Desired Skills & Experience:
Experience working with CNC Milling machinesCAD/CAM programming or similar experienceManual machining Essential Qualifications:
HNC/City and Guilds in Engineering or equivalent Desired Qualifications:
CAD/CAM programmingManufacturer training courses (Fanuc/Mazatrol/Heidenhain etc) Commutable From: Deeside, Wrexham, Chester, Ellesmere Port, Flint, Holywell, Mold, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Wallasey, Runcorn
