We do a 41.5 hour week, Mon - Thurs 8 - 5, Friday is 8 - 4.

Quarter of an hour flexi start / finish.

WF Tech are recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company supplying high-quality components to demanding industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join their machining team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist who enjoys setting and operating modern CNC machining centres within a clean, organised and quality-driven environment.

The Role

You'll primarily be responsible for setting and operating 3 Axis CNC machining centres, producing precision components to tight tolerances.

The business invests heavily in modern equipment and efficient manufacturing processes, including the use of a Zoller Tool Presetting System to streamline machine set-ups.

Setting and operating 3 Axis CNC milling machinesLoading tooling using the Zoller presetting systemProducing high precision components to engineering drawingsPerforming in-process inspection using measuring equipmentDeburring and finishing components where requiredChanging tooling and offsetsMonitoring tool wear and replacing damaged toolingMaintaining high standards of quality and housekeepingIdentifying opportunities to improve machining processesWorking in accordance with company quality and health & safety procedures We're Looking For

Previous experience as a CNC Setter/Operator within a precision engineering environmentStrong experience setting 3 Axis CNC machining centresExperience with Haas and/or Doosan machinesGood working knowledge of Fanuc controlsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsConfident using measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers and gaugesA proactive attitude with excellent attention to detailSomeone who takes pride in producing quality work What's On Offer
