Commutable from: Leicester, Coventry, Nottingham, Derby, Nuneaton

Pay: 16.00 - 18.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 17:15 (39 hours per week)

The Role

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role is key to supporting, growing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes.

Set and operate Mazak machines across various platformsCarry out machine changeovers for a variety of componentsWork closely with quality teams during first-off productionSupport daily production to ensure delivery targets are metRecommend and implement improved manufacturing techniquesWork on cost reduction and continuous improvement projectsIdentify waste and implement process improvementsWork closely with Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing teams on existing products and new product introductionAbout You

Proven experience within CNC production settingExperience setting 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machinesSupport new component setup desirableExperience with first-off production, tooling and process setupAble to read and interpret 2D drawings and modelsStrong knowledge of machining techniquesExperience working with aluminium, cast and steel componentsKnowledge of cutting tools and castingsExperience with Mazak controls desirable (training provided)How to Apply
