Civils Project Engineer/ Design Manager

Description

Our client is seeking a Civils Project Engineer/Design Manager to join their team on a contract basis for wastewater projects on the Southern Water AMP8 framework. This role is based in Falmer and offers a hybrid working arrangement, with flexible options available. The position is for a 12–month duration and falls inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing and delivering wastewater projects within the Southern Water AMP8 frameworkProviding civil engineering expertise for the design and implementation of wastewater networksCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are metOverseeing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completionConducting site assessments and providing technical guidance to the project teamEnsuring compliance with industry standards and regulationsPreparing detailed project reports and documentationLiaising with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and project alignment

Job Requirements:

Experience in civil engineering, particularly within the water sectorStrong project management skills and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teamsProficiency in designing and implementing wastewater networksUnderstanding of regulatory requirements and industry standardsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesAbility to work effectively in a hybrid working environmentRelevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
