Description
BMS Commissioning Engineer
Location: Bristol
Contract: Initial 9 Months
Rate: 52 – 55
Outside IR35
Key Responsibilities
Commission Schneider Electric BMS systems on customer sites
Configure and commission controllers, field devices and BMS networks
Modify controller software using Function Block Editor
Configure BMS graphics and operator interfaces
Integrate third–party systems including HVAC, lighting and metering
Carry out testing, fault finding and system validation
Complete commissioning reports and documentation
Support project teams during installation and client handoverEssential Requirements
Proven experience as a BMS Commissioning Engineer
Experience commissioning Building Management Systems
Experience with Schneider Electric platforms (EcoStruxure, Sigma, Vista or Continuum)
Strong understanding of HVAC controls and building services
Experience with controllers, field devices and BMS networks
Ability to read electrical drawings and control schematics
Strong fault–finding and problem–solving skills
Good communication skills and ability to work independently on site
Full UK driving licenceDesirable
Experience with BACnet, Modbus or other BMS communication protocols
BCIA, CIBSE or relevant BMS qualifications
Experience working on commercial, industrial, healthcare or data centre projects
