Due to continued growth within their environmental team, they are now seeking an Arboricultural Consultant to join their Nottingham office and contribute to a diverse range of projects in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

Arboricultural Consultant Job Overview

Undertake tree surveys and produce BS5837 reports to support planning applications and development projectsProvide arboricultural advice and input across multidisciplinary design teams, working closely with ecologists and engineersPrepare Arboricultural Impact Assessments and Method Statements in line with industry standardsConduct site inspections and oversee tree protection measures during construction phasesContribute to sustainable design solutions that integrate trees and green infrastructure into developmentsSupport the continued growth of the environmental team and mentor junior staff where appropriate

Arboricultural Consultant Job Requirements

Degree or equivalent qualification in Arboriculture, Forestry, or a related environmental disciplineDemonstrable experience undertaking BS5837 tree surveys and producing technical reports for planningStrong knowledge of tree legislation, planning policy, and industry standards (BS5837:2012)Proficiency with mapping or surveying software such as AutoCAD, QGIS, or ArborCADFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site locations across the region
