Air Conditioning Engineer- Central Belt - Salary up to 47,000

CBW is currently recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a leading facilities maintenance company. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a range of commercial contracts across the Central Belt of Scotland, carrying out small installations and reactive maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a wide range of commercial air conditioning systems, ensuring compliance with manufacturer and industry standards.

Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis on systems such as VRV/VRF, split units, chillers, and heat pumps.

Install new air conditioning units and associated equipment in line with project specifications and health & safety regulations.

Complete site surveys and provide technical recommendations for upgrades or replacements where necessary.

Ensure all works are completed efficiently, on time, and to a high standard with minimal disruption to the client.

Accurately complete service reports, job sheets, and compliance paperwork for all site visits.

Liaise directly with clients, site managers, and office staff to ensure clear communication and customer satisfaction.

Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times, including the correct use of PPE and safe working practices.

Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working order.

Stay up to date with industry standards, product developments, and compliance regulations.

Person Specification:

City & Guilds or NVQ in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and F-Gas Certificate (Category 1) Proven experience in servicing, maintaining, and installing air conditioning systems.

Strong knowledge of VRF systems, chillers, and heat pump technology.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.

Ability to manage workload across PPM, compliance, and reactive maintenance tasks.
