Test Engineer | Wimborne | £40,000

Are you a structured and detail driven Test Engineer who thrives in a technical environment where precision, quality, and analytical thinking are essential? This opportunity offers the chance to work with advanced control systems, contribute to product improvements, and play a key role in ensuring equipment safety and reliability.

As a Test Engineer, you will benefit from:

As a Test Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Developing structured tests and test plans that align with system requirements

Executing test plans and producing accurate, clear test reports

Using diagnostic tools and applications to identify and record non‑conformances

Validating fixes provided by the design team ahead of release

Working with design engineers to support quality and testability in product development

As a Test Engineer, your experience will include:

Using testing tools and frameworks such as Jira X‑Ray and Bamboo

Writing concise and logical test plans and test cases

Strong problem solving xjnqpsq and fault‑finding abilities

Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics

Ideally, experience with Python, PyUnit, CAN protocols, ISTQB/ASTQB certification, or operating excavators (desired but not essential)
