I'm currently recruiting for a Systems Test Engineer for a 12 month contract in Edinburgh. The client are looking for somebody who can work on site

Location: Edinburgh

Rate: £55 per hour

IR35: Outside

Start: ASAP

Contract: 12 Month

We're looking for a highly skilled Senior System Test Engineer to join my clients System Verification team in our Edinburgh lab.

In this role, you'll work directly within a networked audio ecosystem-bringing together hardware, firmware, software, and networking components-and ensuring they operate seamlessly as a unified system. You'll design and execute realistic, high‑pressure test scenarios that validate performance, stress full systems under varied conditions, and ensure every product delivers flawless, reliable results in the field.

Do you have experience testing complex, multi‑device connected systems?

Can you assess performance, reliability, and user experience in real‑world environments?

Key Skills

8+ years of experience in system‑level testing/verification

Embedded systems or testing for networked devices

Strong background in hardware-software integration

Proficiency in both manual and functional testing, including regression, performance, and integration testing

Demonstrated experience testing across interconnected systems and product ecosystems, with a focus on end‑to‑end functionality and interoperability

Strong technical leadership, quick learning abilities, and excellent communication skills-capable of mentoring others and influencing decisions with confidenceIf you're interested then please apply with an up to date CV.
