Job Title: PCB Assembler

Location: Gosport

Contract: PAYE Contract

Rate: £14.50-£16 per hour PAYE + holiday pay (£20-21/hour umbrella)

About the Company

Our client is a leading Defence & Security manufacturer specialising in high‑quality electronic assemblies for mission‑critical systems. They operate in a low‑to‑medium volume environment where precision, compliance and right‑first‑time performance are essential.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Production Technician - PCB, you'll assemble PCBs, wiring and harnesses to rigorous industry standards, supporting high‑reliability defence electronics. Working from detailed drawings and instructions, you'll deliver consistent, accurate builds in a clean, process‑driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble PCBs, cables, wiring and harnesses to defined quality standards

Interpret technical drawings, build documentation and work instructions

Follow routing, inspection and quality control procedures

Maintain compliance with Health & Safety policies

Support 5S and Lean improvement activities

Produce consistent, high‑quality, right‑first‑time work

What You'll Need to Succeed

Essential:

Experience in PCB or electronic assembly

Strong quality and safety awareness in a regulated manufacturing environment

Ability to work to IPC Class 3 standardsHigh attention to detail and a methodical approach

Confident communication and team‑working skillsDesirable:

IPC or J‑STD certifications

Experience within Defence, Aerospace or similar sectors
