Description

Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Location: Dublin (Travel across Ireland required)

Salary: €30,000 - €35,000 + company benefits

Driving Licence: A full Irish driving licence is essential

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Field Engineers (training provided) to join our client's team based in Dublin, Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field, working across a variety of environments and tasks. The ideal candidates will have some previous experience in relevant areas or will be enthusiastic to develop new skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with on-site work in environments similar to construction (e.g. working alongside carpenters, electricians, etc.)

Support the installation of cabling over long distances, which may involve using ladders and wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as hard hats and work boots.

Operate power tools, including cordless drills.

Assist with the installation of hardware, such as brackets and cabinets.

Use hand tools, including snips, crimps, and screwdrivers.

Be prepared for early morning starts when required.

Travel across Ireland to various job sites.

Perform manual handling tasks safely and effectively.

Work at heights on ladders or platforms when necessary.

Adapt to varying work hours-flexibility is crucial as shifts may not follow a 9-5 schedule.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements:

A full, clean Irish driving licence is required.

Willingness to learn and grow within the role.

Strong work ethic, with an ability to adapt to various work environments and tasks.

Flexibility to work outside of standard hours, including early starts and occasional extended hours.

Ability to work safely in a variety of environments, including at heights and in construction-related settings.
