The Role

An established and growing engineering manufacturer is seeking an Electronics Test Technician to join its production and engineering team. This role involves testing, fault-finding, and supporting the development of advanced electronic systems for high-performance industrial applications.

You will be responsible for carrying out functional testing, diagnosing faults to component level, and supporting continuous improvement within the production process. The position requires a strong understanding of electronic principles and the ability to work from technical documentation and schematics.

Key Responsibilities

Testing and fault-finding of electronic assemblies to component levelInterpreting circuit diagrams and technical drawingsUsing oscilloscopes, multimeters and automated test equipmentSupporting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actionsAssisting with process improvements and documentation updatesEnsuring high-quality standards and compliance with internal procedures

The Role

Proven experience in an electronics test or technician xjnqpsq role

Strong fault-finding capability down to component level

Confident reading schematic diagrams

Experience with soldering and PCB repair

Familiar with oscilloscopes, digital multimeters and automated test systems

Methodical, detail-oriented and able to work independently

The Salary

£25,000- £27,00 depending on experience.
