JOB- Electronics Product Support Engineer
LOCATION- Birmingham
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £30,000 - £35,000 per annum dependent on relevant experience
My client works within engineering and they are looking to take on a Product Support Engineer with an Electronics bias, on a permanent basis, in the Birmingham area.
The Product Support Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
NVQ/ HNC/ HND/ BTEC/Degree qualified or similar in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Prior electronics sector experience is essential – be able to diagnose faults, work on component level and work with schematics
Practical soldering skills and using hand tools
Any software knowledge would be beneficial – KiCAD or similar PCB Design CAD
Have excellent problem solving skills
Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Be able to work well individually as well as a team
Be proficient with using MS Office applicationsThe Product Support Engineer role will involve:
Providing technical support to customers with regards to company products
Being involved in product re-design when needed
Helping with any technical issues xjnqpsq that arise
Offering production support across the range of products
Schematic design using KiCAD
Carrying out fault diagnosis
Carrying out bespoke assembly of products when required too
