Electrician

Description

Apricus Resourcing are working with a housing association in relation to a 6-month locum contract they have available for an Electrician based in Ipswich to cover the North Essex region.

This role sits within a wider team that is responsible for delivering high quality and cost effective property repairs and refurbishments, estate services, gas servicing and installation and maintenance service across the UK to both internal and external clients.

Main Duties include

* Carry out installation, fault fixing and maintenance duties in accordance with contract and service specifications

* Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations, in accordance with contract and service specifications.

* Resolve problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed in line with agreed processes and within contract and service specifications.

* Provide accurate and timely information on progress and advice that is easily understood by the customer and ensure accurate daily work records are completed

Person specification

* City & Guilds qualification, NVQ 3 or relevant experience as an Electrician (Part P and 17th Edition preferred)

* Qualification or certification in Health and Safety e.g. Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS), Health and Safety passport scheme

* Current Certificate to BS2391 or equivalent standard in testing and inspection

* Current Certificate xjnqpsq of competency in PAT Testing

* Full, current driving licence (A van will be provided)

The role available is based on an initial 6-month FT contract but there is a chance this will be extended due to the volume of work available.

The working hours are Monday – Friday 9-5

The rate of pay for this role is £20.80 PAYE / £24.51 Umbrella
