Description
A Compliance & Regulatory Engineer with a Technical Degree and with knowledge of a range of EU Directives and Regulations will ensure all legislative requirements are met and will produce detailed compliance documentation and reports for products sold within Europe.
The Company: This established Technology company with headquarters in Japan, have a large European Technical Centre in Buckinghamshire with an R&D facility as well as production facilities. Sustainability, quality and innovation are key to this expanding Technology company.
Requirements for the Compliance & Regulatory Engineer:
* A Degree in Mechanical / Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
* Experience writing technical reports.
* An understanding of CE marking.
* Knowledge of a range of EU Regulations, Standards and Directives.
* Ideally to have a background within an electronic manufacturing company.
* Internal Auditor experience highly beneficial.
The role: You will monitor EU directives and regulations such as EMC, ATEX, RoHS, LVD and REACH – noting updates and changes as well as EU official Journal and UK Government websites. As part of a larger team you’ll ensure all legislative requirements are met and produce and amend documentation accordingly. There will also be technical queries to respond to you will undertake training to become an internal auditor. xjnqpsq
Applicants must be fully eligible to work in the UK, be willing and able to travel occasionally to Europe and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
