The bike is approximately 8 years old but has been well looked after and is in good condition for its age.
The original removable 36V 11Ah (400Wh) battery is still performing well and gives approximately 30–40 miles per full charge, depending on assistance level, terrain, rider weight, tyre pressures and weather conditions.
The electric assistance, battery, gears and brakes are all working properly.
The UCR-30 was originally a quality electric commuter bike with a 250W TranzX front-hub motor, 8-speed Shimano gearing and 400Wh removable battery. The original specification quoted an average range of 30–40 miles in Eco mode.
