Folding Electric Tricycle

Description

This tricycle is just ten months old since new but our circumstances have changed and it is necessary to reluctantly sell it. As can be seen from the photos it is in "as new" condition with a few scratches where the parts meet when folded and all systems work perfectly. Unlike most if not all other folding tricycles, it not only folds at the front (in half) but in height and in width, including the pedals and this process can be completed within a minute. This results in a folded size of 1000 x 810 x 400 mm (39 x 32 x 16 in), small enough to go in the back of our Fiat Panda or pass through our caravan door.

The Tricycle was designed, patented and built by a small family concern in the UK and is fully supported for parts and service. Ours is still in warranty.

On the handlebars together with the brake levers are parking brakes, a control panel LED display with options to select Low, Medium and High pedal assist, a 6km/hr walk or drive assist and a battery level meter. A 7-speed Shimano gear system is controlled from the left-hand grip and an off-road throttle assist on the right-hand grip. The handlebars can be adjusted towards or away from the rider as well as adjustment in the stem height.

The saddle stem includes suspension and its height can be adjusted by a clamp on the frame. The saddle is latched in postion and is hinged up and forward to access the battery. The battery is locked in position with a key (two supplied) and can be charged in situ or off the Trike by the supplied charger (pictured). A tool kit and tricycle User Guide is supplied. The photos have been arranged to give some guidance on the folding process but full details are in the Guide.

In addition a rear carrier bag and front carrier bag are included in the sale and both are detachable.
