This thick warm, 10.5tog, 85% goose down duvet has the added benefit of having been made from ethically produced products, meaning a lovely silky cotton cover with lightweight ethically sourced down filling. It has been always used with a cover but there are some tiny marks on it, despite being freshly laundered they didn't wash out.

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is a label for textiles tested for harmful substances. It sets the benchmark for textile safety, from yarn to finished product. Every item bearing the STANDARD 100 label is certified as having passed safety tests for the presence of harmful substances.

Each individual sealed product filled with down and feathers, which have been audited to the DOWNPASS standard, can be traced back through an individualized verification number. This number can be found on the DOWNPASS label. It consists of one letter and 7 or 8 digits. This combination is assigned to a manufacturer.
Products labelled with the DOWNPASS guarantee high quality and the certainty that down and feathers used as filling material are ethically sourced and come from tightly controlled and traceable supply chains. Even during the COVID19 pandemic, extensive controls continued. In addition, the quality of all products is monitored by independent testing institutes.
