Tama Swingstar 14inch diameter tom drum.

Description

This is a Tama Swingstar model tomtom drum which is 14” in diameter by 11” depth, model number SST14A. It appears to have the ‘Gun Metal Metallic (GMM)’ colour finish, but please see the photos of the actual drum which I have taken in different light conditions in different locations as it seems to change a bit with the colour of the ambient light. Looking at the TAMA 2005 catalogue ‘Gun Metal Metallic’ is the best identification of the colour that I can find, and the drum is likely from around this era. However, please see the photos to be sure of the colour match to your kit as it is sold as seen.

The vinyl wrap is slightly discolouring in places around the lugs, I have tried to show an example in a closeup picture, but of course this does not affect the sound.

All tuning lugs are fully working as is the tom holder clamp mechanism.

Both drum heads are in reasonable good used condition, one of them is an original Tama head (on the bottom). Both sides have got some stick marks, but are fully usable.

This tom drum cams as part of a job lot of drum spares that I bought, but I don’t have a matching kit so it’s now for sale here.
