Versatile Eddie Ryan custom shell pack; 20 & 16 kick drums, 10, 12, 13 toms, all wrapped in Delmar gold sparkle.

Eddie Ryan was something of a legend amongst drummers during his lifetime, and made drums for customers including Louis Bellson, Paul McCartney (see the Ebony + Ivory video on youtube), Pick Withers (Dire Straights), Peter Gill (Saxon) and many more.

The drums are in very good condition and the shell pack offers various configurations; see photos.

All drums have 7 ply birch shells that offer wide tuning range and warm, fat sound, without too many overtones. The lugs are Gretsch style rather than the square ER type.

Toms all have RIMS-type mounts + Pearl type brackets. They can be mounted on the rack bar, or clamped individually to stands (tom arms and rack bar + clamps OR 3 dog bone clamps come with kit, cymbal stands NOT included).

20" kick is shallow 12" depth so speaks quickly with fat, but not cavernous, sound. 8 lugs, interior is red lacquer.

16 x 14 kick is not drilled, has 8 lugs and dark wood stain interior. The front hoop has a few chips in the black paint. It is fitted with a Ludwig cymbal arm bracket (cymbal arm can be supplied f.o.c if wanted) and Gibraltar riser. It could easily be used as a rack tom by swapping the wooden hoops for metal ones and fitting a RIMS-type mount

Toms are the sizes used by Steve Gadd on his Yamaha recording kits of the 1980s.

10x8 tom has 6 lugs and req lacquer interior, there is some 'crackling' on the wrap, though this is mostly hidden by the floating mount (see photos).

12x10 and 13x11 both have 6 lugs and dark wood stain interiors.

Kit comes with a Leblond fibre case for the 12 + 13 toms, and Protection Racket bags for the 10 tom + 16 kick.
