Description
Looking for a genuinely good drummer interested in building something from scratch with one other musician, maybe two. Influences range from Fela Kuti and Tony Allen to Talk Talk, post-punk, Krautrock, experimental music and various stranger places and unusual time signatures.
The idea is essentially drums + me, and seeing how far two people can take it. Rhythmically intense, hypnotic, occasionally chaotic, but not interested in simply reproducing existing music.
I'm looking for someone who enjoys playing with space, repetition, originality and dynamics.
No grand promises about gigs or fame - initially just looking for the right person to make interesting music with and see where it goes. Recording is quite likely though.
